PRATHAM
Equipping Caregivers, Strengthening Communities

We believe meaningful work begins by paying attention to what is right in front of us and starting close to home.
Before seeking outwards, our founders chose to put their own funds and resources to begin this pilot in Nirmand, District Kullu. High in the mountains, weather and difficult trails make travel to distant hospitals a challenge. We are equipping multiple Primary Health Centres with essential diagnostic equipment for medical professionals serving in the rural spaces.
The Essentials We Provide
- Haemoglobin Meters
- Vital maternal anemia and prenatal checks
- Glucometers & BP Apparatus
- Routine management for diabetes and hypertension
- Pulse Oximeters
- High-altitude respiratory monitoring
- Wheelchairs
- Dignified patient mobility
- Weighing Machine
- To support accurate diagnosis, treatment planning and patient monitoring
- Stadiometer
- Growth monitoring calculating body mass index, medical examination and nutritional assessment
- Shakir Tape
- To screen children for acute malnutrition
All equipment specifications are clinically validated by medical officers.
By equipping medical professionals on the frontlines, your support turns distant healthcare into immediate, local care.
